Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, our representative will meet you with a placard displaying your name and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure to recover from your journey. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi City Tour
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, explore the vibrant Chandni Chowk spice market with an exciting rickshaw ride, and tour the magnificent Red Fort. Pay respects at Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial, and admire Humayun’s Tomb, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Visit the stunning Lotus Temple, see the towering Qutub Minar, and drive past Parliament House, President House, and India Gate. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi to Agra (210 km / 4 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Check-in at the hotel and freshen up. Visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal (closed on Fridays). Explore Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Akbar, and visit Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, often called the “Baby Taj.” Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
Day 04: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri & Chand Baori (240 km / 5 hours)
Optional early morning visit to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Return to hotel for breakfast and check-out. Drive to Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar, and stop at Chand Baori in Abhaneri village, one of India’s deepest stepwells with 3,500 steps over 13 stories. Arrive in Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Chokhi Dhani Village to experience traditional Rajasthani culture and lifestyle. Enjoy live entertainment including Ghoomer dance, Kalbeliya snake dance, puppet shows, camel rides, and henna art. Savor authentic Rajasthani dinner at Chokhi Dhani and return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur City Tour
After breakfast, visit Amber Fort nestled in the Aravalli Hills, built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. Enjoy an optional elephant ride to the fort entrance. Photo stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), a beautiful palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jaipur’s most iconic monument. Explore City Palace and Museum, a stunning blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, and visit Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory. Evening free for shopping in local markets famous for handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur to Pushkar (145 km / 3 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Pushkar, one of India’s oldest and most sacred cities. Check-in at the hotel and freshen up. Visit the 14th-century Brahma Temple, the only temple in India dedicated to Lord Brahma, and explore the holy Pushkar Lake surrounded by 52 ghats. Visit Varah Temple, a 12th-century architectural masterpiece dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Enjoy a camel safari in the outskirts of Pushkar. Evening free to explore the vibrant local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pushkar.
Day 07: Pushkar to Chittorgarh (200 km / 4 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Chittorgarh, the city of legendary battles and valor. This city is a treasure trove of rich tales of bravery, wars, victories, and defeats. Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Optional activities include jeep safari and horse riding. Overnight stay at the hotel in Chittorgarh.
Day 08: Chittorgarh Sightseeing & Transfer to Udaipur (115 km / 2.5 hours)
After breakfast, visit the magnificent Chittorgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This massive 7th-century fort covers approximately 700 acres and sits atop a hill. Explore Rana Kumbha Palace, Vijay Stambh (Victory Tower), Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame), Fateh Prakash Palace, Padmini Palace, Meera Temple, and Kali Mata Temple. Padmini Palace has a unique history attached to it. This palace was the reason for the battle between Ala-ud-din Khilji and Rana Ratan Singh. Ala-ud-din Khilji was permitted to obtain a glimpse of Queen Padmini in a mirror, and allured by her beauty, he fought a fierce battle with Rana Ratan Singh. Facing defeat, before Chittor was captured, Rani Padmini along with her companions committed Jauhar (self-immolation) by walking down a secret passage to the Jauhar Kund. By late afternoon, transfer to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Check-in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 09: Udaipur Sightseeing & Transfer to Ranakpur (90 km / 2 hours)
After breakfast, explore the romantic city of Udaipur. Visit City Palace, Rajasthan’s largest palace complex built over 400 years ago, and explore Crystal Gallery showcasing rare crystal artifacts. Enjoy a scenic boat ride on Lake Pichola with excellent views of Lake Palace and City Palace. Visit Maharana Pratap Memorial, honoring the legendary warrior king and his loyal horse Chetak. Explore Jagdish Temple, built in 1651, and stroll through Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maidens), a small ornamental garden. Visit Jagmandir, an exquisite marble palace that looks like a floating structure in the lake. By late afternoon, transfer to Ranakpur, famous for its Jain temples. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Ranakpur.
Day 10: Ranakpur to Jodhpur (160 km / 3.5 hours)
After breakfast, visit the stunning Ranakpur Jain Temple, built during the reign of Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. This grand white marble structure spans 48,000 square feet with 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars (no two are alike), 29 halls, 80 domes, and 426 columns. The intricate carvings on the pillars and walls will capture your attention. Also visit Muchhal Mahaveer Temple, unique for its mustachioed statue of Lord Mahavira. By afternoon, transfer to Jodhpur, the Blue City. Check-in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 11: Jodhpur Sightseeing & Transfer to Jaisalmer (285 km / 5 hours)
After breakfast, visit Mehrangarh Fort, a work of architectural brilliance located on a hilltop about 410 feet above the city, offering majestic views of the Blue City. Inside the fort, visit Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace) and Phool Mahal (Flower Palace). Visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh in 1899. Tour Umaid Bhawan Palace, one of the last palaces constructed in India. Currently, it is divided into three areas: one owned by the royal family, one converted into a heritage hotel, and one housing Umaid Public Museum. Optional visits include Clock Tower, Mandore Gardens, and Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park. By late afternoon, transfer to Jaisalmer, the Golden City. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 12: Jaisalmer Sightseeing & Desert Safari
After breakfast, explore the magnificent Golden City of Jaisalmer. Visit Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Fort), one of the world’s few living forts where nearly one-fourth of the old city’s population still resides. Explore Patwon Ki Haveli, one of the most exquisite havelis with a beautifully latticed facade. Visit Salim Singh Ki Haveli, just three centuries old and still inhabited, with an arched roof held up by well-executed brackets in the form of peacocks. Tour Nathmalji Ki Haveli, built by two architect brothers. Also visit Gadisar Lake and Bada Bagh. By afternoon, transfer to Sam Sand Dunes for desert safari. Check-in at the desert camp. Enjoy an adventurous desert safari by jeep and camel, and witness the spectacular sunset. In the evening, sit around a huge campfire under countless stars to experience unique traditional Rajasthani folk dances performed by local artists. Enjoy light snacks with tea or coffee during the dance performances. After the cultural show, relish traditional Rajasthani dinner. Overnight stay in desert camp tents in Jaisalmer.
Day 13: Jaisalmer to Bikaner (330 km / 6 hours)
After breakfast, visit the Jaisalmer War Museum before departing. Drive to Bikaner. Check-in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok village, situated 32 km from Bikaner. The greatest attraction of this temple is the approximately 25,000 rats freely roaming in the temple complex. These rats, called Kabas, are considered holy by locals and are believed to be reincarnations. They are harmless and play around in the temple without disturbing devotees. The miraculous fact is that no disease related to rats has ever been found in Deshnok, and the temple neither stinks nor is dirty anywhere. Return to Bikaner. Optional visit to Kote Gate market for shopping local handicrafts and camel leather items. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bikaner.
Day 14: Bikaner Sightseeing & Transfer to Mandawa (190 km / 4 hours)
After breakfast, visit Junagarh Fort, built by Rai Singh between 1588 and 1593. It has a 986-meter-long wall with 37 bastions. Inside the fort, explore Har Mandir, Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal, and Chandra Mahal, all fine examples of royal luxury. The fort also houses a small museum preserving important relics of the bygone era. Visit Lalgarh Palace, a beautifully built palace with red sandstone that houses Sadul Museum, Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum, and Lalgarh Palace Hotel. Optional visit to the National Research Centre on Camel. By late afternoon, transfer to Mandawa, famous for old havelis of leading business families. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Mandawa.
Day 15: Mandawa to Delhi (260 km / 5 hours)
After breakfast, take a walking tour of the old havelis in this region belonging to some of the leading business families of the country. During ancient times, Mandawa became the most popular stopover for merchants crossing through this route. Businessmen who settled here constructed beautifully designed havelis adorned with some of the best paintings. Notable havelis worth visiting include Murmuria Haveli, Harlalka Well, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Bansidhar Newatia Haveli, and Chokhani Double Haveli. By late afternoon, transfer back to Delhi. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 16: Transfer to Delhi Airport
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Delhi International Airport for your onward journey.
