Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Jaipur to Ranthambore – Arrival and Relaxed Evening

Your Ranthambore and Kuno Safari from Jaipur begins with a morning pickup from your Jaipur hotel, airport, railway station or preferred location. Meet your private driver and start the journey towards Sawai Madhopur and Ranthambore National Park.

The road journey usually takes around 3.5–5 hours, depending on traffic, route and breaks. After arriving in Ranthambore, check in to your wildlife resort and relax. If time allows, your driver can help arrange a short local visit or you may simply rest before the next day’s safari.

Your safari permit details, reporting point and pickup time will be reviewed in advance so you are ready for the early morning forest experience.

Overnight: Ranthambore

Meals: According to the selected hotel plan

Begin the day early for a Ranthambore jungle safari. After breakfast or a packed breakfast, proceed to the assigned entry point with your permit and identification documents. The safari takes place in a natural landscape of dry forest, grassland, lakes and historic ruins.

Ranthambore is known for its Bengal tiger habitat. During the drive, you may also look for leopards, sloth bears, sambar, chital, nilgai, wild boar, crocodiles and many bird species. Animal sightings depend on the safari zone, weather, season, animal movement and chance, so no sighting can be guaranteed.

Return to the resort after the safari and enjoy breakfast or rest. If permits and availability allow, an additional afternoon safari can be arranged at an extra cost. You may also visit Ranthambore Fort if its opening time and safari schedule permit.

Overnight: Ranthambore

Start with an optional second Ranthambore safari, subject to permit availability and your travel schedule. A second safari gives you another opportunity to experience the reserve in different light and explore a different route or zone.

After breakfast and check-out, begin the road journey towards Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. The travel time can be long and depends on the selected route, road conditions and stops. Your driver will plan suitable breaks for refreshments, lunch and comfort.

Arrive near Kuno and check in to your accommodation. Keep the evening relaxed because the next day is reserved for the Kuno wildlife experience.

Overnight: Kuno or Sheopur area

After an early breakfast, proceed for your Kuno National Park safari according to the confirmed permit and reporting time. Explore the reserve’s open woodland, grassland and riverine surroundings with an authorised safari team.

Kuno is associated with India’s cheetah conservation and reintroduction efforts. Visitors may also look for leopards, hyenas, jackals, deer, antelope, wild boar and a wide range of birds. Cheetah sightings are not guaranteed, and some conservation areas may have restricted access depending on current forest department rules and animal management requirements.

Return to your accommodation after the safari and spend the remainder of the day relaxing. Wildlife photographers can use the time to review photographs or enjoy the peaceful rural landscape around the reserve.

Overnight: Kuno or Sheopur area

After breakfast, check out and begin the return road journey to Jaipur. The route passes through rural landscapes and small towns, making it a relaxed way to end the wildlife holiday.

On arrival in Jaipur, you will be dropped at the airport, railway station, hotel or another preferred location. This completes your private Ranthambore and Kuno safari tour from Jaipur.
