Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Your driver will meet you at Delhi airport, railway station or another agreed pickup point. Travel to your hotel and take some time to rest.
If you arrive early, you can request a short local outing. Otherwise, keep the evening free for dinner and a good night’s sleep before the sightseeing begins.
Hotel check-in follows the property’s usual timings. Early check-in can be requested separately.
Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, head to Old Delhi. Begin around Jama Masjid and walk through selected lanes near Chandni Chowk. You can also request a short rickshaw ride through the market area.
Continue towards New Delhi for an India Gate exterior stop where access permits. Break for lunch before visiting Humayun’s Tomb or the Qutub Minar complex. Both appear in the supplied Delhi itineraries; selecting one gives you more time to enjoy the visit without rushing.
Your sightseeing order can change according to traffic and opening arrangements. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon or evening.
Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra
Have breakfast, check out and leave for Agra by private car. Stop for refreshments when needed.
On arrival, check in to your hotel according to its policy. Later, visit Agra Fort and spend time exploring its courtyards and palace areas. A local guide, if included, can explain the history behind the buildings. Agra Fort is a main stop in the supplied eight-day itinerary.
Keep the evening relaxed, as the next morning starts early.
Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 4: Taj Mahal Visit and Drive to Jaipur
Leave early for the Taj Mahal. Your pickup time will depend on your travel date, hotel location and entry arrangements.
Walk through the gardens, stop for photographs and take a closer look at the marble details. Allow time to enjoy the visit rather than moving straight between photo spots.
Return to your hotel for breakfast and check-out, then continue to Jaipur. You can request a visit to Fatehpur Sikri along the way. This optional stop appears in the supplied itinerary and will make the travel day longer.
The Taj Mahal closes to general visitors on Fridays, so the tour dates or sightseeing order must accommodate this closure.
Reach Jaipur, check in and spend the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Amber Fort. Explore its courtyards and palace areas at a comfortable pace.
Continue towards the city and stop outside Hawa Mahal for photographs. After lunch, visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar. These are the main Jaipur attractions included in the supplied tour programmes.
Your City Palace ticket determines the areas you can enter. Special-access sections require a separate arrangement.
Finish with a short market walk if you would like to browse. Shopping is optional, and you can return to your hotel earlier instead.
Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur to Delhi and Train to Amritsar
Check out after an early breakfast and travel back to Delhi. Your driver will take you to the railway station for your reserved train to Amritsar.
Keep this day mainly for travel. The road departure must allow a suitable buffer before the train, and the connection needs to be checked before booking. This road-and-rail arrangement follows the supplied eight-day itinerary.
On reaching Amritsar, meet your local driver and transfer to the hotel. Have dinner and rest after the journey.
If a suitable train connection is unavailable, the transport plan or number of nights will need to change.
Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 7: Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Border Ceremony
Begin the day with a visit to the Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib. Take time to walk around the complex and observe the daily activity. The Golden Temple is the main Amritsar visit across the supplied sources.
Wear modest clothing, cover your head and remove your shoes before entering. Follow the complex’s instructions on conduct and photography.
Continue to Jallianwala Bagh, which forms part of the supplied Amritsar sightseeing programme. Take a lunch break before the afternoon excursion.
Later, travel towards the Attari–Wagah Border for the planned flag-lowering ceremony. The event includes ceremonial marching and the lowering of the national flags. Access and reporting arrangements must be checked locally, as official instructions can affect the visit.
Return to your hotel after the excursion.
Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 8: Return to Delhi or Depart from Amritsar
Enjoy breakfast and check out. If you have selected the Delhi return, your driver will take you to Amritsar railway station for the reserved train.
On arrival in Delhi, meet your driver for the agreed hotel, airport or other drop-off.
Share your onward flight details before booking. The train arrival must leave enough time for the transfer and airport procedures. Add a Delhi hotel night if the connection would otherwise be too tight.
You can also finish the tour in Amritsar with a local airport, railway-station or hotel drop-off.

FAQs
Q. Where does the tour start and finish?
The proposed tour starts in Delhi and finishes in Jodhpur. Pickup and drop-off can take place at an airport, railway station or hotel, according to your confirmed arrangements.
Q. Does this package include a return to Delhi?
No. The standard suggested itinerary ends in Jodhpur. A return flight, train journey or road extension can be arranged separately, subject to availability and an additional quotation.
Q. Can we visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise?
The itinerary schedules an early-morning visit on Day 4. The Taj Mahal opens 30 minutes before sunrise on normal operating days, but weather and visibility affect the experience. It closes to general visitors every Friday, so your travel dates may require an adjustment.
Q. Is the Lake Pichola boat ride included?
Only if your quotation specifically includes it. Confirm the boat service, departure point, route and any island visit before booking. Weather, availability and operating conditions can affect the final arrangement.
Q. Can we include Ranakpur between Udaipur and Jodhpur?
Yes, you can request Ranakpur as an optional visit on Day 8. Its Jain temple is a notable stop for marble architecture and carved pillars. Adding the visit extends the transfer day, so it should form part of the confirmed schedule.
Q. Are hotels, guides and entry tickets included?
That depends on the package you choose. The quotation should list hotel names or categories, room arrangements, meals, guide services and ticket inclusions separately. Do not assume that private transport automatically includes guides or monument entry.
Q. Can families and senior travellers customise this itinerary?
Yes. The proposed schedule can accommodate fewer stops, shorter walks and additional rest time. Share mobility requirements, children’s ages and preferred travel pace before booking so the operator can suggest appropriate arrangements.
Q. How much does the Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur tour cost?
The price depends on travel dates, group size, vehicle category, hotel selection, room occupancy and included services. Request a personalised quotation that clearly lists the total cost, taxes, optional charges and cancellation conditions.
